In tennis, the ATP World Tour Masters 1000 is a term applied to a series of men's tennis tournaments that are ranked below the four Majors and Year-End Championships and are the most prestigious tournaments on the ATP World Tour.
The ATP Masters Series was a series of nine tennis tournaments that formed part of the men's Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) tour from 2004 until 2008. The events were held annually in Europe and North America.
